SUMMER TAXES:  Payable July 1st, 2008 thru September 15th, 2008 without interest or penalty.  Beginning September 16th, 2008 a 1% per month interest fee will be added to the unpaid balance.  Payments received on or after February 18th, 2009 are subject to an additional 3% penalty.  Beginning March 1st, 2009 all unpaid property taxes are delinquent and MUST be paid to the:

Delinquent Personal Property Taxes can be paid at the Augusta Township Hall, Monday thru Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm

TAX DEFERMENTS:  Senior Citizens, Veterans and Farmers may be eligible for a tax deferment.  Applications for tax deferments are available at the Treasurer's Office Monday thru Friday, 9:00am - 4:00pm.  Completed deferments must be returned to the Augusta Township Hall no later than September 17th, 2008.  For more information, contact Lynda H. DOG LICENSE INFORMATION:  Dog licenses may be purchased at the Augusta Township Treasurer's Office at 8021 Talladay Road, Whittaker, MI 48190 from December 1, 2008 thru February 29th, 2009.  Proof of rabies vaccination and spaying or neutering of animals is required.  For more information contact Lynda H.
